CLEANSING SPRING ARUGULA PESTO
Help digestion and lower blood pressure
This pesto is easy to make and cleansing for the liver and gallbladder. I recommend making this in the springtime. Arugula has a handful of great health benefits, it is helpful with digestion and it lowers the blood pressure. Pregnancy is a time when women should be eating more folate, iron, calcium and zinc and arugula is packed with all of these things.

This pesto is great for the springtime because it cleans the liver and gallbladder. Arugula has a spicy bitter taste that the liver and gallbladder like. The lemon is also really good for the liver and the almonds are sweet in nature which is good for the stomach.
Cleansing Spring Arugula Pesto
Ingredients
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 pinch Salt To Taste
- 1/4 cup Almonds
Instructions
- Pack all of the ingredients into a blender turn the blender on low and slowly drizzle the olive oil in while the ingredients are blending.
- Once all of the oil is in turn up the blender and blend until the desired texture.
- I like to leave my pesto a bit chunky but that is entirely up to you.
